- Reservations for car hire can be made via our website, over the phone, or directly at our Gosforth office. A booking deposit may be necessary to confirm your reservation. Full payment along with a security deposit is generally required at the time of vehicle pickup. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. We accept major credit and debit cards, with secure processing through trusted payment providers.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off

You are liable for any damage or loss up to the excess amount, unless further insurance is purchased. Any damage resulting from negligence or misuse remains your responsibility, regardless of existing insurance.
Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on your booking type and the notice provided. For precise information, consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Please be aware that late cancellations or no-shows may incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of the Vehicle
- The vehicle must not be used for any unlawful activities. Engaging in racing, rallying, or off-road driving is prohibited. Transporting hazardous materials is not allowed. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is forbidden. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purposes, and adherence to passenger and weight limits is mandatory. Operating the vehicle outside of agreed geographical boundaries requires prior authorization.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Gosforth will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the rental amount paid in the previous 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence, or for fraudulent activities.
9. Applicable Law
These Terms are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
10. Updates to Terms
